Women's Shirt Maker's Express
I had never made a shirt before in my life, but I've now made two and I love them. I have received many compliments from friends who also sew -- my toughest critics. I did add two shaping darts in the back and adjusted each of the front darts toward the center by 1/2 inch to fit my body better. The shape is VERY flattering. Not at all like wearing a man's shirt, yet still plenty of room to move with ease. It was very helpful to sew my first shirt while watching the bluprint/craftsy course, but I was able to make the second one in about 3 and a half hours just using the instruction book as needed. Just be sure you have access to a machine that can make great buttonholes. My much loved mechanical machine does not, but my new fancy one can make them in a snap.
