Between the videos and the pattern, this pattern is PERFECT. It’s just the right amount of tailoring for a casual shirt. Other patterns are too basic and sometimes hang like a kitchen garbage bag. Not this one. It’s perfect and the tips from the videos are fantastic!

My first exposure to Islander techniques was in Janet's Craftsy class, Jacket Express. This shirt was less complicated than the jacket but still fun to make. Love the easy construction and it turned out great. I'll be making this one again.
