So glad I bought this set!
As I am working my way through these videos I am continually putting the techniques to use in my garment and quilt work. It was well worth the investment for me, even though I've been sewing since age 9... for 57 years. I found Islander Sewing through the Jacket Express class on Craftsy. I have made two jackets from the pattern and get compliments on them every time I wear either jacket. My next goal is to make for myself a pair of slacks that fit and are comfortable!

Great tips presnted in a loving way.
I only wish I had known Margaret Islander! She is such a patient teacher and presents her info in such a positive way, always anticipating problems and heading them off at the pass! These are wonderful DVDs and books-I highly recommend. I also loved Janet Pray and Rosemary's DVD on zippers. It was so great to have all the zipper apps in one place and they also presented things in such an orderly simple way, never assuming that you know anything so it is all clear! These products give you a lot of confidence which is half the battle in sewing!
