Easty Check Measuring Tape
It works great. My husband is happy to take my measurements, but despite instructions, I just don't think he keeps things level. Also, I think this measure is more accurate than a standard one, no matter who's using it, because your fingers don't get in the way and the red line is more accurate than trying to read things as you are holding the end of the the tape. It is a simple and effective way to measure yourself or someone else. I also think it is an inexpensive but useful gift item for my sewing friends.

This gadget is the bomb. No more depending on hubby to help with measurements, he never gets the same number twice. Great for girth, but also use it for lengths. Set the marker on the length proposed and see how it looks on you in a mirror.
