This pattern enables an aspiring designer to have their own set of Skirt Sloper / Blocks. Directions give information to select the correct skirt style and size. For your sewing convenience, the sewing steps needed to sew any style of skirt are illustrated.
You can become your own designer by using the various skirt slopers / blocks, then create your own skirt designs by simply adding various pockets and yokes and/or creating different skirt fullness and lengths.

Seam Allowances: are 5/8" (1.5 cm) on all seams. Hem amounts are noted by the notches.
PLEASE NOTE: To accommodate the fabric layout for some of the 1X to 6X patterns, a 5/8" seam allowance at center front will need to be added.
Important Measurement Instructions
For accurate measurements and proper fitting, please measure the fullest hip AND fullest stomach.
Use whichever measurement is larger.
To use the chart properly, pull the measuring tape very snugly. After measurement, add 2 inches.
